What To Expect
Your install in four steps.
1. Schedule online. Pick a date and time through our online scheduler. Same-day appointments often available.
2. Drop off. Bring your rig to our Lakewood shop. We review the build with you and confirm timing before any work starts.
3. Install. Our certified techs handle every step in-house. Most lift kits are completed in a single shop day.
4. Pickup. Road test, torque check, and alignment before your keys go back in your hand.

Real reviews from the Toyota and Lexus owners we build for.
“RSG is a great shop whether you are a beginner off roader and just starting to plan your build or a seasoned trail runner who wants skilled techs working on their rig.”
“Had a great experience with RSG Off road. They did a pre inspection for me on a truck and helped find several issues. Andy is the best, I definitely recommended them.”
“If you have a lifted Toyota/Lexus, you'll get the best alignment Colorado has to offer. Excellent customer service, great prices, and the quality can't be beat. RSG saved me and is still the only shop I trust to work on my 4Runner.”
Frequently Asked Questions
Daily-driver setups usually run a 2-3 inch lift on Bilstein 6112/5160 or Old Man Emu BP-51. Aggressive builds lean toward Fox or King with mid-travel arms. The right answer depends on how you use the truck. Bring us your goals (commute, trail, overland) and we match the kit.
On a daily driver, anything over 3-4 inches starts working against you. Harsh ride quality, accelerated CV joint wear, headlight aim issues, reduced rollover stability. If you need clearance for big tires, we usually steer you toward selective trimming or a body mount chop instead of a taller lift.
Only if you're running 35s or larger and rubbing inner fender. A body mount chop is a rubbing fix, not a lift accessory. Most 33-inch and smaller setups never need one.
Federal Magnuson-Moss law says a manufacturer can't void your warranty just for installing aftermarket parts. They CAN deny warranty on a part directly damaged by the modification. A lift won't void your engine warranty, but if the lift causes a CV joint to fail, that CV joint is on you.
Either works. We carry every brand listed above and can order whatever you don't see. If you already bought a kit, bring it in and we'll quote install only.
Removal of factory suspension, install of new components, post-install torque-spec check, and a four-corner alignment. We confirm any extras (sway bar end links, bump stops, brake line relocations) at drop-off so there are no surprises.
