Real reviews from the Toyota and Lexus owners we build for.
“I purchased some aftermarket side view mirror lights for my Taco. Turns out they weren't as "plug and play" as the website described and needed some additional wiring done... They had it done, with an oil change in about half a day. I'm very happy with the work they did.”
“I brought my 2021 toyota tacoma here starting last year with the lift and this year with some lights. Every time I come here, they give me really good pricing, upfront advice, options and more importantly they do a look over on my truck.”
“RSG installed Rock Sliders on our Tacoma in 2019 and just installed rock sliders and raptor lights on our 4Runner... Andy was super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful!”
Frequently Asked Questions
In Colorado, auxiliary forward lights are legal as long as they're covered or aimed below the horizon when driving on public roads. Off-road forward lighting must be wired through a switch and cannot be activated with the headlights. We wire to spec.
Spot beams throw long and narrow (best for highway speed and open trail). Flood beams cast wide and short (best for tight wheeling and slow technical). Combo beams blend both. Most builders run a spot+flood pair for ditch lights and a single combo for the bar.
Modern LED pods pull less than a stock low beam. Properly switched and grounded, they don't impact battery life. Wired wrong, anything can drain a battery.
When the platform allows. 4Runner TRD Pro and Tacoma TRD Pro come with upper aux switches we can tap into. For everything else we install Sw-Pro or Switch Pros panels. Both look factory and do not ruin the dash.
A simple ditch light pair is a half day. A full build (bar + ditch + bumper + rock lights + switch panel) is one to two shop days depending on the platform.
Yes. Bring the lights, brackets, and harness if you have one. We'll quote install only. If you don't have a harness, we can supply or build one.
